HUMAIMA MALICK AND VIDYA BALAN TO COMPETE FOR BEST ACTRESS AWARD

Famous Pakistani actress Humaima Mallick to compete with Indian actress Vidya Balan at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSAs). Vidya Balan is nominated for best actress award for The Dirty Picture and Humaima Mallick for her in Shoaib Mansor’s Bol.

They are competing alongside names like Korean actress Cho Min-soo (Pieta), Russian actress Darya Ekamasova

(Once Upon a Time There Lived a Simple Woman) and Philippenes-based Nora Aunor (Thy Womb), according to the official APSA website.

The Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSAs) event will be held in Brisbane on 23^rd November 2012.
