Telenor has declared the increase in the rates of new and replacement SIMs.Pricing notification for New and Replacement SIMs published on the Telenor website read as;
The new SIM charges, which have increased by Rs. 100, will be applicable from December 11th, 2012.
After this increase in rates, a regular SIM, which was
earlier charged at Rs. 100, will be sold at Rs. 200 now.
Here it can be said that this step of Telenor will also be followed by other existing cellular operators. More Detail
