The chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority Mr. Farooq Awan has said that YouTube may open in coming days.According to media reports the Video sharing site YouTube may be opened in 20 days.
YouTube was banned on 17th September, 2012, when the Anti-Islamic Film “Innocence of Muslims” was uploaded on YouTube. Pakistan government requested YouTube management to remove objectionable
material from the site but nothing come out and then PTA decided to ban the site in Pakistan.
A private channel quoted Mr. Awan as saying that negotiations are underway with Google, which owns YouTube, to block the objectionable material on their site. for more clickhere
